About

Shiloh Darrow- Chief Instructor

Shiloh began his personal interest in firearms by purchasing his first rifle in 1992. His Father was a history buff and instilled upon him both the values of historical lessons as well as the fascination of researching old firearms. In 1997 Shiloh began professionally carrying a firearm while working with an armored car company where he was required to be State certified. In 1999 he was introduced to American Civil War reenacting where he began learning skills on artillery pieces (cannons) as well as black powder charges. It was there he was able to teach visitors about the items they were using on the field. After about 6 years he moved to an infantry unit where he learned about rifled muskets and passed on that knowledge to visitors as well.

During Shiloh's time working on armored trucks he decided to try a different path in training. In 2007 he attended a Firefighter Academy. While also becoming a registered EMT he began teaching layman CPR and Professional Rescuer CPR for the American Red Cross as a volunteer. This was all completed while continuing to work full time with the armored car services.

In 2010 Shiloh continued to work professionally with a firearm when he was hired with NASA Protective Services. He became an NRA certified instructor in 2015 in order to further his education and to teach the public.

Shiloh's goal is to continue to take advantage of learning opportunities and try to incorporate more classes for the public. He hopes to guide people in the safest direction possible while owning a firearm.
